Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 2 lime wedges, plus more, to taste, for garnish
  • 2 cups ice
  • 1 orange, peeled and diced, frozen, plus more, sliced, for garnish
  • 2 ounces silver tequila
  • 1 ounce orange liqueur
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce agave syrup

Directions

Step 1 -Spread the salt on a small plate.

Step 2 -Rub the rims of two glasses with the lime wedges.

Step 3 -Dip the glass rims in the salt.

Step 4 -Combine the ice, the frozen orange pieces, the tequila, the orange liqueur, the orange juice, the lime juice, and the agave syrup in a blender.

Step 5 -Purée the margarita mixture until smooth.

Step 6 -Divide the margarita mixture between the prepared glasses.

Step 7 -Garnish the glasses with the orange slices and the lime wedges and serve.
