Ingredients

  • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets, 1 1/2-inch-thick
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

Directions

Step 1 -Season the salmon with the salt and the pepper.

Step 2 -In a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, add the oil and heat until it is shimmering, about 3-5 minutes.
