Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 small head green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 small yellow onion, halved and thinly sliced
  • 3 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • salad dressing, of your choice, such as Greek dressing, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -In a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and heat until it is just shimmering.

Step 2 -Add the shredded cabbage, the onions, the garlic, the red pepper flakes, the coriander, and the salt to the heated oil and cook, tossing occasionally, until the veggies have fully softened and caramelized in some parts.

Step 3 -Transfer the cast-iron from the heat. Drizzle the cabbage mixture with the lime juice and toss well.

Step 4 -Serve the fried cabbage drizzled with the dressing.
