Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 (1/2-inch-thick) pork chops, bone-in
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • fresh parsley, optional, to taste, chopped, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Step 3 -In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil.

Step 4 -Add the pork chops to the hot oil and brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Step 5 -Transfer the pork chops to the prepared baking dish.

Step 6 -In a medium bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, the water, the Worcestershire sauce, the salt, and the pepper.

Step 7 -Pour the sauce mixture over the pork chops.

Step 8 -Cover the dish with foil and bake until the pork is cooked through at 145 degrees F, about 1 hour.

Step 9 -Garnish with the parsley and serve.
