There's no excuse for not adding greens to your dish! Especially when something as simple and delicious as Sautéed Spinach exists. Wilted in the best way, this nourishing side is a tasty addition to whatever else it is you're chowing down on. It takes less than 10 minutes to whip up Sautéed Spinach, so go ahead and go green!
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 10 ounces fresh spinach, washed
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the oil.
Step 2 -Add the garlic to the oil and stir for 30 seconds.
Step 3 -Add the spinach and cook, while stirring, until the spinach leaves have wilted, about 4-6 minutes.
Step 4 -Transfer the skillet from the heat and season the spinach with the salt and the pepper.
Step 5 -Serve.
