Ingredients

  • 10 cups (about 3 1/2 pounds) broccoli florets
  • 6 cups seedless red grapes
  • 1 cup celery, sliced
  • 6 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/3 cups almonds, sliced or slivered, toasted

Directions

Step 1 -In a large bowl add the broccoli florets, the grapes, the celery, and the onions.

Step 2 -In a small bowl add the mayonnaise, the sugar, and the vinegar and whisk to combine.

Step 3 -Pour the mayonnaise mixture over the broccoli mixture and toss to coat.

Step 4 -Cover the bowl and transfer it to the refrigerator for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Step 5 -When ready to serve the salad, add the bacon and the almonds to the salad and gently stir to combine.

Step 6 -Serve.
