Ingredients

  • For the salad:
  • 5 cups broccoli florets, chopped into small bites
  • 1 apple, cored and diced
  • 1 pear, cored and diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1 cup cashews, toasted or roasted
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • For the dressing:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey, softened or warmed up
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, plus more, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, the apple, the pear, the red onion, the cashews, and the cranberries.

Step 2 -In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, the sour cream, the lemon juice, the warm honey, and 1/4 teaspoon of the salt.

Step 3 -Whisk the dressing mixture until well combined and smooth. Add more of the salt while whisking, as needed.

Step 4 -Add the dressing to the broccoli salad and stir until thoroughly combined.

Step 5 -Serve.
