Lucky never had a stroke of bad luck when making this dish! Lucky's Sugar Snap Peas are crisp yet tender, coated in rich butter and bright, tangy lemon juice! They make a great pairing with grilled chicken or pork chops. Lucky's Sugar Snap Peas are just so light and refreshing with their garden sweetness, they really brighten up any plate! This is a four-leaf clover side dish from our friend Lucky!

Ingredients

  • 1 (15-16-ounce) package sugar snap peas
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

Step 1 -Snap the stems off the sugar snap peas.

Step 2 -Pull the string off of the pod and discard the string.

Step 3 -In a large skillet over medium heat, add the oil, swirling it in the pan to coat.

Step 4 -Add the snap peas, the salt, and the pepper to the hot oil and cook, while stirring occasionally, until the peas are tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes.

Step 5 -Transfer the skillet from the heat.

Step 6 -Add the butter and the lemon juice to the peas and stir well to coat.

Step 7 -Serve immediately.
