  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -Cut the ribs into serving-sized pieces.

Step 3 -Place the ribs, meat-side up, on racks in two greased 9x13-inch baking pans.

Step 4 -Cover the pans tightly with foil.

Step 5 -Bake the ribs until tender and cooked to 145 degrees F, about 1 hour 15 minutes.

Step 6 -Remove the racks.

Step 7 -Drain the fat and return the ribs to the pans.

Step 8 -In a small bowl, combine the ketchup, the brown sugar, the white vinegar, the honey, the soy sauce, the ground ginger, the salt, the ground mustard, the garlic powder, and the pepper.

Step 9 -Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs.

Step 10 -Return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, until the sauce coats and clings to the ribs, basting occasionally, about 30-40 minutes.

Step 11 -The ribs can also be grilled over medium-hot heat for the last 30-40 minutes instead of baking.

Step 12 -Serve.
