Well, a rich, creamy lemon-pepper butter that adds delightful brightness and spice to each bite actually does make it better! Grandpa's Corn on the Cob is just how grilling corn should be done!

Ingredients

  • 8 medium ears sweet corn
  • water, to taste
  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons lemon-pepper seasoning

Directions

Step 1 -Carefully peel back the corn husks to within 1 inch of the bottoms.

Step 2 -Remove the silk from the corn.

Step 3 -Rewrap the corn in the husks and secure the husks with kitchen string.

Step 4 -In a stock pot, add the corn and enough of the water to just cover them.

Step 5 -Soak the corn in the water for 20 minutes.

Step 6 -Preheat the grill to medium heat.

Step 7 -Drain the corn.

Step 8 -In a small bowl, add the butter and the lemon-pepper seasoning and mix to combine.

Step 9 -Add the corn to the hot grill and cover. Cook the corn, turning them often, until they are tender, about 20-25 minutes.

Step 10 -Cut the strings off the corn and peel back the husks.

Step 11 -Serve the corn with the seasoned butter mixture.
