Each tortilla chip cup is filled with succulent, zesty, and tantalizing taco meat and salsa, and then topped with melty cheese and seasoned sour cream. It's a touchdown! A home run! It's Game Time Scoops for the win!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 (1.25-ounce) envelope taco seasoning, divided
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (8-ounce) jar chunky salsa
  • 1 (8-ounce) package shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided
  • 1 (10-ounce) bag Tostitos® Scoops®
  • 1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
  • fresh cilantro, optional, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the ground beef and cook, while crumbling, until only a little pink remains, about 5 minutes.

Step 3 -Drain the excess grease from the skillet.

Step 4 -Add 1/2 of the taco seasoning and the water to the ground beef and cook, while stirring occasionally, until the water has evaporated and the beef is fully cooked.

Step 5 -Add the salsa to the beef mixture and stir to combine.

Step 6 -Add 1/2 of the cheese to the beef mixture and stir to combine until it is melted.

Step 7 -Evenly fill each of the Scoops chips with the beef mixture and place them on a large baking sheet.

Step 8 -Top the beef mixture in the chips evenly with the remaining cheese.

Step 9 -Bake until the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.

Step 10 -In a bowl, add the remaining taco seasoning and the sour cream and whisk to combine.

Step 11 -Serve the filled chips topped with the sour cream mixture and the cilantro.
