Ingredients

  • 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1/2 medium red onion, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups barbeque sauce
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded, can substitute chicken breast, poached and shredded
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 1 plum tomato, diced
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped, plus more, to taste, for garnish
  • tortilla chips, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 -In a slow cooker, add the cream cheese, the red onion, the barbeque sauce, the bacon, the shredded chicken, the cheese, the tomato, and 1 tablespoon of the green onions and stir to combine.

Step 2 -Cover the slow cooker and cook the dip on low heat until the ingredients have melted, about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Step 3 -Stir the dip and garnish with the extra green onions.

Step 4 -Serve the dip warm with the tortilla chips.
