Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 medium ripe banana, frozen
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter, can substitute nut butter of your choice
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk or almond milk, plus more, to taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder, plus more, to taste, for garnish
  • 1 serving protein powder, of your choice

Directions

Step 1 -In a large, high-powered blender, add the coffee, the banana, the vanilla, the peanut butter, the ice, 1/4 cup of the coconut milk, 1/2 tablespoon of the cacao powder, and the protein powder.

Step 2 -Blend on high until everything is well-combined, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 3 -Add more of the extra coconut milk, as needed, to reach your desired consistency.

Step 4 -Serve garnished with the extra cacao powder.
