Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 2 cups ham, cooked and diced
  • 1 cup elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 tablespoons pimiento, diced
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder or 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup American cheese, shredded

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 -In an ungreased 2-quart casserole, gradually stir the milk into the cream of celery soup.

Step 3 -Stir the ham, the macaroni, the mushrooms, the pimiento, and the onion into the milk mixture.

Step 4 -Bake, covered, until the macaroni is tender, about 40 minutes.

Step 5 -Sprinkle the casserole with the cheese and bake, uncovered, until the cheese has melted, about 10 minutes.

Step 6 -Let the casserole stand for 10 minutes.

Step 7 -Serve.
