Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • sea salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 2 teaspoons butter, divided
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cheddar, grated
  • 1 tablespoon chives or parsley, chopped
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 2 thin ham slices, chopped

Directions

Step 1 -Gently mix together the eggs, the milk, the sea salt, and the pepper with a fork.

Step 2 -Melt 1 teaspoon of the butter in a medium pan on medium high heat on the stovetop.

Step 3 -Pour the egg mixture immediately into the hot pan and allow it to cook undisturbed.

Step 4 -When the underside of the omelet is golden-brown, reduce the heat to low.

Step 5 -Sprinkle the parmesan, the cheddar, the chives, and the tomato on the omelet and then add the ham on top.

Step 6 -Cook the omelet for 30 seconds.

Step 7 -Slide the omelet from the pan onto a plate, folding the omelet over itself.

Step 8 -Place the remaining butter on top of the omelet and serve.
