Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

Step 1 -In a large bowl, whisk the flour, the sugar, the baking powder, and the salt together.

Step 2 -Make a well in the center of the flour mixture, adding the milk, the vegetable oil, and the egg into the well, and then mix until smooth.

Step 3 -Scoop 1/4 cup of the batter per pancake, in batches, on a lightly oiled grill or frying pan over medium-high heat and cook, until bubbles form and the edges are dry, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 4 -Flip the pancake with a spatula and cook until the other side is browned, about 1-2 minutes.

Step 5 -Serve.
