Classic Easy Homemade Meatballs are exactly what your spaghetti, sub roll, or cocktail hour needs! They’re endlessly versatile and endlessly delicious! Classic Easy Homemade Meatballs only require a few ingredients and can be made without much effort, so you can focus on making other delicious dishes or just enjoying some time with friends and family while your snacks cook!
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 pound lean ground beef
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -In a large bowl, combine the egg, water, breadcrumbs, onion, salt, and pepper.
Step 3 -Break the ground beef into chunks, then add the chunks to the bowl.
Step 4 -Mix gently, but thoroughly, with your hands to combine. Don't overmix.
Step 5 -Form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter.
Step 6 -Place the meatballs on a broiler pan or a pan with sides topped with a wire rack.
Step 7 -Bake until the meatballs register 165 degrees F on a meat thermometer, about 25-30 minutes.
Step 8 -Serve warm.
