Ingredients
- For the dip:
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, cubed
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- For serving:
- grape tomatoes, to taste, halved
- 1/4 cup dill pickles, chopped
- cilantro, to taste, chopped
- tortilla chips, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -Grease a 3-quart slow cooker.
Step 2 -In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the beef and the onions until the meat is no longer pink and the onions are tender, about 6-8 minutes. Drain the excess grease.
Step 3 -Pour the beef mixture into the prepared slow cooker.
Step 4 -Stir the cream cheese, 1 1/2 cups of the cheddar cheese, the Worcestershire sauce, the mustard, the salt, and the pepper into the beef mixture.
Step 5 -Sprinkle the beef mixture with the remaining cheese.
Step 6 -Cover the slow cooker and cook the dip on low heat until it is heated through and the cheese has melted, about 1 hour 45 minutes-2 hours 15 minutes.
Step 7 -Sprinkle the dip with the tomatoes, the pickles, and the cilantro.
Step 8 -Serve the dip with the chips.
