  • For the cake:
  • 1 (15.25-ounce) package white cake mix
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • For the topping:
  • 2 cups sweetened whipped cream, homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup bananas, sliced

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -Coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.

Step 3 -In a bowl, add the cake mix, the buttermilk, the oil, and the eggs and, using an electric hand mixer on low speed, beat for 30 seconds.

Step 4 -Increase the mixing speed to medium and beat until combined, about 2 minutes.

Step 5 -Pour the cake batter into the prepared baking pan.

Step 6 -Bake the cake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 25-30 minutes.

Step 7 -Transfer the baking pan to a wire rack to cool completely, about 1 hour.

Step 8 -Spread the whipped cream evenly over the cake.

Step 9 -Top the cake with the raspberries, the blueberries, and the bananas, decorating as desired.
