Ingredients

  • 16 frozen tater tots, room temperature
  • 16 (1/4-inch) cubes sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, halved
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley leaves, chopped

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 -Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Step 3 -Wrap 1 of the tater tots and 1 of the cheese cubes with 1 of the bacon pieces.

Step 4 -Secure the bacon with a toothpick.

Step 5 -Repeat until the remaining tater tots and the remaining cheese cubes are wrapped in the remaining bacon.

Step 6 -Add the brown sugar to a shallow bowl, then dredge each of the wrapped tater tots in the brown sugar, pressing slightly to coat.

Step 7 -Place the wrapped tater tots, seam-side down, on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 8 -Bake the wrapped tater tots, flipping them once halfway through, until the bacon is crisp, about 20-25 minutes.

Step 9 -Serve immediately garnished with the parsley.
