Need a fruity little number for your next gathering? This Strawberry Sangria will be the talk of the party! Loaded with fresh fruit and tangy rosé, this blend will bring your bunch back for more! Good times are to come with Strawberry Sangria!
Ingredients
- 4 cups fresh strawberries, divided
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 (750-ml) bottle dry rosé wine, chilled, divided
- 1/2 cup triple sec
- 1 orange, sliced into wheels
- 1 lemon, sliced into wheels
- soda water, to taste
- mint leaves, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -Reserve 6 individual strawberries and set them aside.
Step 2 -Hull and slice the rest of the strawberries and place them in a blender. Sprinkle them with the sugar and stir to combine.
Step 3 -Let the strawberry-sugar mixture rest in the blender at room temperature, about 20 minutes.
Step 4 -Add 1/2 of the wine to the strawberry-sugar mixture in the blender and blend until the strawberries are puréed.
Step 5 -Pour the strawberry mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a large pitcher, using a spatula to press it through. Discard the seeds.
Step 6 -Add the remaining wine and the triple sec to the pitcher and stir to combine.
Step 7 -Hull and slice the 6 reserved strawberries and add them to the pitcher.
Step 8 -Add the orange wheels and the lemon wheels to the pitcher and stir to combine.
Step 9 -Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour and up to 4 hours.
Step 10 -Pour the sangria into glasses, ensuring the fruit is equally dispersed, then evenly top with the soda water.
Step 11 -Serve the sangria garnished the mint leaves.
