Ingredients
- peanut oil, to taste
- 1 cup beer, of your choice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt, plus more, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, plus more, to taste
- 1 pound green beans, ends trimmed
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oil to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -In a bowl, whisk together the beer, the flour, 2 teaspoons of the salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of the pepper until smooth.
Step 3 -Dip each of the green beans into the batter, allowing the excess to drip off.
Step 4 -Fry the battered green beans in the oil in batches.
Step 5 -Cook until golden and crispy, about 4-6 minutes.
Step 6 -Remove the green beans from the oil and sprinkle with the extra salt and the extra pepper.
Step 7 -Serve.
