  • For the lemon-orange cake:
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 5 eggs
  • For the lemon-honey glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -Spray a Bundt™ pan generously with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 3 -In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, the baking powder, the baking soda, and the salt.

Step 4 -Add the orange and the lemon zest, stirring to combine.

Step 5 -Using an electric stand mixer with the paddle attachment, cream together the butter and the sugar until smooth and fluffy.

Step 6 -Add the 1/2 cup of the lemon juice, the orange juice, the eggs, and the milk to the butter mixture, stirring to combine.

Step 7 -Slowly add the flour mixture and blend until the batter is smooth.

Step 8 -Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and into the oven.

Step 9 -Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 50 minutes-1 hour.

Step 10 -Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool.

Step 11 -In a small mixing bowl, whisk the powdered sugar, the honey, and the remaining lemon juice together.

Step 12 -Drizzle the lemon-honey glaze over the cooled cake and serve!
