You simply can't go wrong with a classic cocktail like Gin & Tonic. The bittersweet flavor of the tonic balances the floral, fruity notes of the gin for a wonderful blend of tastes. Add in a little citrus brightness and you have a refreshing brew ideal for cooling you down in hot weather! Gin & Tonic is speedy, easy, and breezy!
Ingredients
- 2 ounces gin
- 3-5 ounces tonic water
- ice cubes, enough to fill a glass
- 1 lime wedge, optional, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -Pour the gin and tonic water into a glass filled with ice cubes.
Step 2 -Stir the mixture gently with a spoon.
Step 3 -Garnish with a lime and squeeze lime juice into the cocktail before serving.
