Ingredients

  • 6 slices turkey bacon, cut into small pieces
  • 2 (16-ounce) cans refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • cooking spray, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -Place the turkey bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat.

Step 2 -Cook and turn occasionally, until evenly browned, about 5 minutes.

Step 3 -Transfer the turkey bacon to a paper-towel-lined plate.

Step 4 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 5 -Spray a fluted tube pan or Bundt™ pan thoroughly with cooking spray.

Step 6 -Open the biscuit cans and separate the individual biscuits.

Step 7 -Cut each of the biscuits into 6 pieces.

Step 8 -Beat the eggs, the milk, the salt, and the pepper together in a bowl.

Step 9 -Dunk the biscuit pieces into the egg mixture and layer them into the fluted pan. Top each layer of the biscuits with the turkey bacon and cheddar cheese.

Step 10 -Pour any remaining egg mixture over the dough in the pan.

Step 11 -Spray the top of the bread with the cooking spray.

Step 12 -Bake until the top is browned, about 40 minutes.

Step 13 -Allow the bread to cool for 10 minutes.
