Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, halved
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 (12-ounce) can light-colored beer
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • oil, to taste, for greasing the grill grates

Directions

Step 1 -Place the chicken halves in a glass baking dish.

Step 2 -In a mixing bowl, combine the lime juice, the beer, the honey, the garlic, the cilantro, the salt, and the pepper until the mixture is fully incorporated.

Step 3 -Pour the marinade over the chicken in the dish, cover, and allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Step 4 -Preheat the grill to medium heat and using the oil, lightly grease the grill grates.

Step 5 -Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off.

Step 6 -Grill until fully cooked through, reaching 165 degrees F, about 7 minutes on each side.
