Ingredients

  • 1 (2-pound) pork tenderloin
  • 1 (12-ounce) can or bottle root beer
  • 1 (18-ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
  • 8 burger buns, split and lightly toasted

Directions

Step 1 -Place the pork tenderloin in a slow cooker.

Step 2 -Pour the root beer over the tenderloin.

Step 3 -Cover the slow cooker and cook until the meat is fork-tender, about 6-7 hours on low heat.

Step 4 -Drain the meat well.

Step 5 -Using two forks, shred the meat.

Step 6 -Add the barbecue sauce and stir until the meat is well coated.
