These rich and chocolatey treats are packed full of nuts, both inside the tender brownies and sprinkled with even more on top! Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup baking cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup nuts, of your choice, chopped, plus more, to taste
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature, lightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -In a bowl, add the flour, the sugar, the baking cocoa, the baking powder, the salt, and 1/2 cup of the nuts and whisk or stir to combine.

Step 3 -In a separate bowl, add the oil, the eggs, and the vanilla and whisk to combine.

Step 4 -Add the wet ingredients mixture to the dry ingredients mixture and stir until just combined into a batter. Be careful not to overmix.

Step 5 -In a 9x13-inch baking pan, add the batter and spread it out evenly.

Step 6 -Sprinkle the batter with the extra chopped nuts.

Step 7 -Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 20-25 minutes.

Step 8 -Allow the brownies to cool in the pan on a wire rack.

Step 9 -Slice and serve.
