Ingredients

  • 1 (10-ounce) can green enchilada sauce
  • 3/4 cup salsa verde
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 (10-inch) flour tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
  • cilantro, chopped, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2 -Grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.

Step 3 -In a small bowl, add the enchilada sauce and the salsa verde and stir to combine.

Step 4 -In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the beef, breaking it into crumbles, until no longer pink, about 8-10 minutes. Drain the beef of any fat.

Step 5 -Add 1/2 cup of the sauce mixture to the beef and stir to combine.

Step 6 -Spoon 2/3 cup of the beef mixture across the center of each tortilla and top each tortilla with 3 tablespoons of the cheese.

Step 7 -Fold the bottom and the sides of each tortilla over the filling and roll them up.

Step 8 -Place the rolled-up tortillas into the prepared baking dish and pour the remaining sauce mixture over the top of the rolled-up tortillas.

Step 9 -Sprinkle the tortillas with the remaining cheese.

Step 10 -Bake the burritos, uncovered, until the cheese is melted, about 10-15 minutes.

Step 11 -Serve garnished with the cilantro.
