The result is chicken that is tender and savory, with a kick of bright lime, a touch of sweet honey, and some herbaceous Italian dressing. No dip required for Ultimate Chicken Tenders — only a hungry tummy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Kraft Zesty Italian Salad Dressing
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 3 tablespoons Nate's 100% Pure, Raw & Unfiltered Honey
- 2 pounds chicken tenderloins
- lime wedges, optional, to taste, for serving
Directions
Step 1 -In a small bowl, add the Italian dressing, the lime juice, and the honey and whisk to combine.
Step 2 -In a resealable plastic bag, add the chicken tenderloins and the marinade and seal the bag.
Step 3 -Massage the bag lightly to ensure the chicken tenders are completely coated.
Step 4 -Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 20 minutes and up to overnight in the refrigerator.
Step 5 -Preheat a grill to medium-high heat, approximately 350 degrees F.
Step 6 -Transfer the tenders from the marinade, then add them to the hot grill and cook, flipping them once, until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F, about 4-6 minutes per side.
Step 7 -Transfer the chicken tenders to a plate and let them rest for at least 5 minutes.
Step 8 -Serve the chicken with the lime wedges.
