Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) frozen pie shell
  • For the filling:
  • 1 cup leftover stuffing, crumbled
  • 1 cup leftover turkey, chopped
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar, shredded
  • 1/4 cup parsley leaves, roughly chopped
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • ground black pepper, to taste
  • For the custard:
  • 1 1/4 cups half-and-half
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • kosher salt, to taste
  • ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -Pre-bake the crust, following the package instructions. Then set aside to cool slightly before filling.

Step 2 -Adjust the oven temperature to 350 degrees F.

Step 3 -Sprinkle the stuffing and turkey into the pre-baked pie shell.

Step 4 -Top with the cheddar and parsley, and season with salt and pepper.

Step 5 -In a separate bowl, whisk together the half-and-half, eggs, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.

Step 6 -Pour the custard mix over the filling.

Step 7 -Bake the custard until set, about 35-40 minutes.

Step 8 -Remove the quiche from the oven and cool until room temperature, about 30 minutes.

Step 9 -Serve warm!
