Ingredients
- 2 red bell peppers, cut into thick rounds
- 2 yellow bell peppers, cut into thick rounds
- 1 large yellow onion, cut into thick rounds
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes
- 2 (12-ounce) rib-eye steaks, boneless, pounded about 1 1/2-inch-thick
- 4 teaspoons McCormick's® Grill Mates® Montreal® Steak seasoning
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- parsley, to taste, chopped, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -Adjust an oven rack 6 inches from the heat source, then preheat the oven to the broiler setting.
Step 2 -Grease a rimmed baking sheet.
Step 3 -Evenly spread the red bell peppers, the yellow bell peppers, the onions, and the tomatoes over the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4 -Nestle the steaks into the veggie layer, leaving about 1 inch between them so they are not touching.
Step 5 -Season each of the steaks with 1 teaspoon of the steak seasoning, then drizzle each with 1 tablespoon of the oil.
Step 6 -Top each of the steaks with 1 tablespoon of the butter.
Step 7 -Broil the steak mixture until the meat is browned on top, about 5 minutes.
Step 8 -Transfer the baking sheet from the oven.
Step 9 -Use tongs to flip the steaks, then sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon of the remaining steak seasoning.
Step 10 -Drizzle 1 tablespoon of the remaining oil over each of the steaks then top each with 1 tablespoon of the remaining butter.
Step 11 -Broil the steak mixture until the meat reaches an internal temperature of at least 135 degrees F for medium-rare, about 3 minutes.
Step 12 -Serve the steak mixture garnished with the parsley.
