Ingredients

  • For the crust:
  • 2 cups pretzels, crushed into crumbs
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • For the filling:
  • 1 (16-ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup key lime juice
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 strawberries, diced
  • 1/4 cup tequila
  • For the garnish:
  • 6 strawberries, sliced
  • 2 limes, thinly sliced
  • mint leaves, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -In a bowl, mix the pretzel crumbs, the melted butter, and the sugar together.

Step 3 -Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate, pressing it firmly into the sides and the bottom.

Step 4 -Bake the crust until it is toasted, about 10 minutes.

Step 5 -Take the crust out of the oven and allow it to cool completely.

Step 6 -With a mixer, beat the cream cheese until it is fluffy.

Step 7 -Add the lime juice to the whipped cream and beat it until no lumps remain.

Step 8 -Add the sweetened condensed milk and the 3 diced strawberries to the filling mixture and beat on high speed for 2 minutes.

Step 9 -Stir the tequila into the filling mixture.

Step 10 -Pour the filling into the cooled crust and freeze for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Step 11 -Allow the pie to thaw out for 10 minutes prior to serving.

Step 12 -Decorate the top of the pie with the remaining strawberries, the limes, and the mint leaves.

Step 13 -Serve.
