Nope, all you need is an Open-Face BLTA, and you'll instantly add a pop of pizzaz to your midday meal. Grab yourself a couple fluffy pieces of flatbread and sprinkle them with a bit of gooey cheese. Then, add all your go-to toppings and you've got yourself stunning pieces of colorful culinary art that's so beautiful, you'll just have to snap a quick pic of them. Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, for oiling the grill grates
  • 2 pieces flatbread, such as naan or pita
  • 1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked
  • 12 cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped or shredded
  • 1/2 avocado, thinly sliced
  • 1/8 cup red onion, sliced thin
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and grease the grates with the olive oil.

Step 2 -Place the flatbreads on the prepared grill and cook, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Step 3 -Transfer the grilled flatbreads to a large platter.

Step 4 -Evenly sprinkle each of the flatbreads with the cheese and arrange the bacon strips over top.

Step 5 -Reduce the heat to medium. Return the flatbreads to the grill and cook until the cheese has melted, about 3-4 minutes.

Step 6 -Turn the grill off, transfer the grilled flatbreads to the same platter, and evenly top them with the cherry tomatoes, the lettuce, the avocado slices, and the red onions.

Step 7 -Season the BLTAs with the salt and the pepper.

Step 8 -Serve.
