Ingredients
- 1 sleeve (about 42 crackers) saltine crackers
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 (12-ounce) package chocolate chips
- heath toffee bits, to taste
- white chocolate, to taste, melted
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -Line a rimmed cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Step 3 -Grease the parchment paper with cooking spray.
Step 4 -Place the crackers side-by-side on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 5 -In a large saucepan over medium-medium-high heat, add the butter and the brown sugar and stir to combine.
Step 6 -Bring the brown sugar mixture to a boil and cook, while boiling and stirring constantly, for 3 minutes.
Step 7 -Pour the brown sugar mixture evenly over the crackers.
Step 8 -Bake in the preheated oven until the brown sugar mixture clings to the crackers, about 5 minutes.
Step 9 -Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the crackers.
Step 10 -Let the crackers stand for 5 minutes.
Step 11 -Using the back of a spoon, spread the melted chocolate chips evenly over the crackers. If the chocolate chips aren't melting, place the baking sheet in the warm oven to help melt.
Step 12 -Sprinkle the crackers with the toffee bits and drizzle them with the melted white chocolate.
Step 13 -Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and allow it to cool completely, about 2 hours.
Step 14 -Break into pieces and serve.
