No matter what, she always gets a bad rap. But with Karen's Roll-Ups, she will certainly redeem herself in one quick meal! All she has to do is flatten some whole-wheat bread, add layers of American cheese and thinly sliced deli turkey, roll them to gain redemption, and lightly brown with a bit of butter. You will quickly get off the hook with her easy, delicious, and can't-go-wrong Karen's Roll-Ups. It's a family-friendly meal everyone will flip out over! We finally see it... her way actually is the best!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices whole-wheat bread, crusts removed and discarded
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 4 slices deli turkey, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

Step 1 -Use a rolling pin to thinly roll out the bread slices.

Step 2 -Add 1 slice of the cheese on top of each of the flattened bread slices and top with 1 slice of the turkey.

Step 3 -Tightly roll up each of the sandwiches, then press the seams to seal them.

Step 4 -In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.

Step 5 -In a single layer, add the rollups to the melted butter and cook until they are browned on all sides.

Step 6 -Serve.
