Ingredients
- For the chicken:
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 4 (6-ounce) chicken breast halves, boneless, skinless
- 3 tablespoons butter
- For the honey butter:
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup honey
Directions
Step 1 -Place the egg in a shallow bowl.
Step 2 -In another shallow bowl, combine the bread crumbs, parsley flakes, Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and poultry seasoning.
Step 3 -Dip the chicken in the egg and then in the bread crumb mixture, making sure each chicken breast half is coated thoroughly.
Step 4 -Heat a large cast-iron or another heavy skillet over medium heat.
Step 5 -Add 3 tablespoons of butter.
Step 6 -Cook the chicken in the melted butter until the chicken reaches 165 degrees F internally, about 4-5 minutes.
Step 7 -Combine the remaining butter with the honey.
Step 8 -Serve the chicken with the honey butter.
