Ingredients

  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8-ounce) package pepper jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon salt-free Cajun seasoning
  • 1 (1-ounce) packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 baby carrot
  • 10 whole peppercorns
  • 1 jalapeño
  • 2 rosemary sprigs
  • crackers, to taste, of your choice, for serving

Directions

Step 1 -In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, the pepper jack cheese, the Cajun seasoning, and the ranch dressing mix and mix to combine.

Step 2 -Divide the cheese mixture into 2 balls, 1 made from about 1/4 of the cheese mixture and 1 from the remaining 3/4.

Step 3 -Wrap and chill the cheese balls for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Step 4 -Unwrap the cheese balls.

Step 5 -On a serving plate, add the larger cheese ball.

Step 6 -Place the smaller cheese ball on top of the larger cheese ball, creating a snowman.

Step 7 -Slice the tip off of the baby carrot.

Step 8 -Press the tip of the baby carrot into the top cheese ball, creating a carrot nose for the snowman.

Step 9 -Using the whole peppercorns, create eyes, a mouth, and buttons for the "snowman."

Step 10 -Cut the top with the stem off of the jalapeño.

Step 11 -Place the top of the jalapeño with the stem facing up on the top cheese ball, creating a hat for the snowman. Reserve the remaining jalapeño for a separate use or discard.

Step 12 -Place the rosemary sprigs in the body of the snowman to create arms.

Step 13 -Serve with the crackers.
