Ingredients
- For the spread:
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh dill
- 3/4 cup cucumber, peeled and finely chopped, patted dry
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- For serving:
- whole-wheat bread slices, to taste
- baby carrots, to taste
- cucumber slices, to taste
Directions
Step 1 -In a small bowl, add the cream cheese, the mayonnaise, the salt, the white pepper, and the dill and, using a hand mixer, beat until it is smooth.
Step 2 -Stir 3/4 cup of the chopped cucumbers and the onions into the cream cheese mixture.
Step 3 -Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the spread until ready to serve.
Step 4 -Serve the spread with the bread, the carrots, and the remaining cucumber slices.
