Bagged Tacos fill bags of your favorite corn chips with taco-seasoned beef and taco toppings, so you can literally carry a taco with you as you go about your day. Satisfyingly crunchy and savory, Bagged Tacos give you a burst of energy to get through long afternoons, and it's just plain fun to eat!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (1-ounce) envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 6 (1-ounce) packages corn chips, of your choice
  • lettuce, optional, for topping
  • Mexican cheese, shredded, optional, for topping
  • sour cream, optional, for topping
  • guacamole, optional, for topping
  • cherry tomatoes, optional, for topping

Directions

Step 1 -In a large skillet over medium heat, cook and crumble the ground beef until it is no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.

Step 2 -Drain the fat from the skillet.

Step 3 -Add the water and taco seasoning to the skillet with the cooked beef.

Step 4 -Reduce the heat and allow it to simmer for about 20 minutes.

Step 5 -Open the chip bags.

Step 6 -Pour equal portions of the beef mixture into the bags.

Step 7 -Serve with your choice of taco toppings.
