A crunchy yet tender-on-the-inside tot, married to sharp cheddar cheese and draped in crispy, succulent bacon would be enough to blow anyone's mind. Ingredients

  • 2 cups frozen tater tots, at room temperature
  • 1 ounce sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 1/4-inch squares
  • 4 slices bacon, quartered
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley leaves, chopped

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 2 -Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Step 3 -Wrap each tater tot and each cheese square in a single piece of the bacon, working one at a time and continuing until all of the tater tots, the cheese, and the bacon are used.

Step 4 -Dredge each wrapped tater tot in the brown sugar, pressing to coat.

Step 5 -Place the wrapped tater tots seam-side down onto the prepared baking sheet.

Step 6 -Bake the tater tots, using metal tongs to flip them halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the tots are cooked through, about 20-25 minutes.

Step 7 -Serve garnished with the parsley.
