Ingredients

  • For the salad:
  • 3 (5-ounce) cans tuna in water, drained
  • 1 cup English cucumbers, quartered then sliced
  • 1 avocado, peeled and seeded, diced
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped, plus more, to taste, for garnish
  • For the dressing:
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -In a large bowl, add the tuna, the cucumber, the avocado, the red onion, and 1/4 cup of the cilantro.

Step 2 -In a small bowl, add the lime juice, the olive oil, the chili powder, the cumin, the salt, and the pepper and whisk to combine.

Step 3 -Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and gently toss to coat.

Step 4 -Serve the salad immediately garnished with the extra cilantro.
