All-Summer-Long Salad is a beloved pasta salad drenched in nutty and creamy poppyseed dressing with bursts of juicy red grapes and savory green onions! Yum! Crunchy almonds give a welcomed texture alternative, making All-Summer-Long Salad just a dream to enjoy!
Ingredients
- 2 cups fusilli pasta
- 1 cup red grapes, halved
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped or slivered
- 6 ounces poppyseed dressing, homemade or store-bought
- 4 stalks green onions, sliced
Directions
Step 1 -In a large pot of salted, boiling water, add the pasta and cook it to al dente, according to the package directions.
Step 2 -Drain the pasta and quickly rinse it under cold water.
Step 3 -Transfer the cooked pasta to a large mixing bowl.
Step 4 -Add the grapes and the almonds to the pasta and toss lightly to combine.
Step 5 -Add the poppyseed dressing to the pasta mixture and toss lightly to coat.
Step 6 -Cover the mixing bowl and chill it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 7 -Stir once, then add the green onions to the pasta mixture.
Step 8 -Serve.
