Ingredients
- neutral-flavored oil, to taste, for greasing the grill grates
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 4 (1-pound) T-bone steaks, room temperature
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the grill to high heat.
Step 2 -Using the oil, lightly grease the grill grates.
Step 3 -In a bowl, add the salt, the paprika, the black pepper, the onion powder, the garlic powder, the cayenne pepper, the coriander, and the turmeric and whisk to combine.
Step 4 -Thoroughly coat all sides of the steaks with the spice mixture.
Step 5 -Add the steaks to the hot grill and cook, flipping them once, until they reach an internal temperature of 130 degrees F for a medium-rare doneness, about 3 minutes-4 minutes per side.
Step 6 -Let the steaks rest for 5-7 minutes until they come up to 135 degrees F for medium-rare.
Step 7 -Optionally, slice the steaks against the grain and serve.
