Ingredients

  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups pretzels twists, finely crushed, plus more, to taste, whole, for garnish
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups creamy peanut butter, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups milk or semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

Step 1 -Line a 9×13-inch pan with foil and spray it with cooking spray.

Step 2 -In a large bowl, add the melted butter, 2 cups of the crushed pretzels, the powdered sugar, and 1 cup of the peanut butter and using your clean hands or a spatula, mix until combined.

Step 3 -Press the pretzel mixture firmly into the prepared pan.

Step 4 -In a microwave-safe bowl, add the remaining peanut butter and the chocolate chips and microwave on high heat in 30-second increments, stirring after each increment, until it is melted and smooth.

Step 5 -Pour the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the pretzel mixture and spread it out with a spatula.

Step 6 -Chill the pan until the pretzel mixture is set for at least 1 hour.

Step 7 -Garnish with the whole pretzels.

Step 8 -Slice and serve.
