Killer Strawberry Shortcake

Time: 50 minutes

Yield: 12 servings

About

There will be some detractors who will say that because Killer Strawberry Shortcake uses cake instead of shortcake, it isn't a real strawberry shortcake. We disagree, if only because we're already on our third slice! Killer Strawberry Shortcake is a brilliantly tender and moist white cake topped with a smooth, rich, and creamy topping and a fresh strawberry-jam-like finish, glistening like rubies! Sweet and bright and oh so comforting, exactly the way a great strawberry shortcake should be! No need to get short about it!
