Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded hash browns
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup ham, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 4 eggs
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2 -Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 3 -In the bottom of the prepared casserole dish, add the hash browns and spread them out evenly.

Step 4 -Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and the ham evenly over the hash browns.

Step 5 -Add the green onions evenly over the cheese and the ham.

Step 6 -In a mixing bowl, add the evaporated milk, the eggs, the salt, and the black pepper and whisk until completely blended.

Step 7 -Pour the egg mixture into the baking dish.

Step 8 -Bake until a knife inserted into the center of the casserole comes out clean, about 45 minutes.

Step 9 -Allow the casserole to rest for 10 minutes.

Step 10 -Slice and serve.
