Ingredients

  • For the seasoning:
  • 1/4 cup garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup dried parsley
  • 1/4 cup dried minced onion
  • 1/4 cup dried basil
  • For the pork chops:
  • 4 pork chops, thick-cut, boneless
  • 8 teaspoons olive oil, plus more, to taste, for oiling the grill grates

Directions

Step 1 -Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Step 2 -In a small bowl, mix the garlic powder, the kosher salt, the dried parsley, the onion, and the basil together.

Step 3 -Pat the meat dry with paper towels. Rub each side of the chops with 1 teaspoon of the olive oil and 1/4 teaspoon of the seasoning mixture.

Step 4 -Brush the grates with the extra oil.

Step 5 -Place the chops on the grill until the meat reads 145 degrees F internally, about 5-6 minutes per side.

Step 6 -Let them rest for 5 minutes.

Step 7 -Serve.
