Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups milk, cold, divided
  • 2 (1.33-ounce) envelopes dry whipped topping mix, such as Dream Whip®
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 (3.5-ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 (9-inch) graham cracker pie crust, pre-baked
  • whipped cream, optional, to taste
  • cocoa powder, optional, to taste, for garnish

Directions

Step 1 -In a medium bowl, add 1 cup of the milk, the dry whipped topping mixes, and the vanilla extract and using an electric hand mixer on high speed, beat to combine until it thickens, about 6 minutes.

Step 2 -Add the remaining milk and the pudding mix to the whipped topping mixture and using the electric hand mixer on low speed, beat until it is incorporated.

Step 3 -Using a rubber spatula, scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Step 4 -Using the electric hand mixer on high speed, beat the chocolate mixture on high speed again until it is fluffy, about 2 minutes.

Step 5 -Using a rubber spatula, add the chocolate mixture into the pie crust, spreading it out evenly.

Step 6 -Add the whipped cream over the chocolate mixture layer in the pie crust, spreading it out evenly

Step 7 -Transfer the pie to the refrigerator and allow it to chill for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Step 8 -Garnish the pie withh the cocoa powder, slice, and serve.
