Ingredients
- For the dragon sauce:
- 1/4 cup jarred chili garlic sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- For the pork and noodles:
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1/4 cup unsalted peanuts, chopped
- 2 (3-ounce) packages ramen noodles, seasoning packets discarded or reserved for another use
- 3 green onions, sliced, for garnish
- sesame seeds, optional, to taste, for garnish
Directions
Step 1 -In a bowl, add the chili garlic sauce, the soy sauce, and the brown sugar and stir to combine. Set the sauce mixture aside.
Step 2 -In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground pork and cook, while crumbling, until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 3 -Drain the excess grease from the skillet.
Step 4 -Add the sauce mixture and the chopped peanuts to the cooked pork and simmer until the sauce mixture thickens and reduces by half, about 5 minutes.
Step 5 -In a pot of salted, boiling water cook the ramen noodles according to the package directions.
Step 6 -Drain the water from the pot.
Step 7 -Add the drained noodles to the pork mixture and toss until the noodles are combined and coated in the sauce.
Step 8 -Serve the noodles garnished with the green onions and the sesame seeds.
